Kate Middleton and Prince William and their three kids are mourning the lack of their household canine, Lupo.

The Royal couple introduced the unhappy information on Instagram on Sunday, Nov. 22. They shared a photograph of the black cocker spaniel and wrote, “Very sadly final weekend our pricey canine, Lupo, handed away. He has been on the coronary heart of our household for the previous 9 years and we are going to miss him a lot. – W & C.”

Lupo was a part of a litter born in 2011 to Ella, the canine of Kate’s dad and mom Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton.
